We have added a new member to our family - meet Jacob. Jacob came to us from eastern Washington. He was a stray and ended up in the care of Kelly and we found him through Saving Great Animals. He is a gentle, Lab/Golden Retriever mix. Louie loves him and we are having a blast!

We lost a good dog friend on Tuesday, January 6, 2009. His name was Pumbaa and he was a wonderful life-long companion to our dear friend Renee. Pumbaa was a little gracious, loving, gutsy fellow who welcomed hundreds of people, dogs, and living things into his life. He lived 15 wonderful years and was totally devoted to Renee. We honor Pumbaa on our blog and extend our deepest sympathy to Renee. We mourn this loss in her life.
